About this piece
Block Island strung with Christmas lights. The island's real outline, Great Salt Pond and all, is lit end to end in red, gold, white and green on a snowy navy night, with both lighthouses glowing at Sandy Point and the Southeast Light. MERRY CHRISTMAS on top, FROM BLOCK ISLAND and the island's coordinates below.
Inside: "Wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year," with plenty of room to write. The back carries a small island mark and BLOCK ISLAND · RHODE ISLAND.
