About this piece
The arrival every dog on board has been waiting for, in 1930s travel-poster style, on a cozy sherpa-backed throw.
The design
A retriever stands proudly on the bow of an unnamed passenger boat heading into Old Harbor, with the breakwater, Victorian-style rooftops, Southeast Light on the far bluff and gold sun rays behind. Lettering reads 'DOGS OF BLOCK ISLAND' and 'ALL ASHORE WHO'S GOING ASHORE'. The retriever has clearly appointed himself first off the boat. Original BlockBoundRI artwork.
