About this piece
Both of Block Island's lighthouses on one ornament, each with a dog in the picture, naturally.
The design
Front: Southeast Light on the striped clay bluffs at dusk, its beam reaching out over sailboats, with a fence and a dog on the lawn. Text: 'FIRST LIT 1875 / SOUTHEAST LIGHT / MOHEGAN BLUFFS'. Back: North Light at Sandy Point in the morning sun, a dog on a leash leaving a paw-print trail and a piping plover keeping a safe distance. Text: 'NORTH LIGHT / SANDY POINT / 1867'. Original BlockBoundRI artwork.
Features
- Solid wood, oval shape
- Printed on both sides
- Red ribbon for hanging
- Magnetic back (per supplier listing)
Natural wood varies in grain, color and texture, and ink may not fully fill every grain line, so each piece is a little different.
